Dolphin Show
The Dolphin Show is a non-profit student theatre organization that annually presents a large-scale student-produced musical theatre production at Northwestern University. The most recent annual production opened in January 2015 and was Titanic.
History
A group of Northwestern University men formed the Dolphin Club in 1939 to compete in Chicago area swimming meets. In 1940, the 15-member team held a swim carnival to raise money to attend a meet in Florida. The carnival and the meet were both successful, so the water show was repeated in 1941 and 1942. When World War II forced the cancellation of the annual Waa-Mu Show, the club combined their tradition with some students from Waa-Mu to present an evening of song and dance called the Dolphin Show. The 1944 Dolphin Show was a musical revue called "Wela Kahau" including women's water ballet and the men's Dolphin Club. Proceeds from this show bought war bonds. In 1948 audiences returned to see a musical-comedy revue around the original Patten Gymnasium pool. The Dolphin Show became jointly produced by the female Lorelei swimming club in 1949, but drifted away from its aquatic origin. The Dolphin Executive Board gave equal representation to both clubs who chose a theme for each year's show. In 1963 the production was no longer raising funds for the swim clubs. In 1964 the show presented Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado around the pool. In 1970, the group performed the musical Mame on stage at Cahn Auditorium.

Nagoya
Nagoya (名古屋市, Nagoya-shi) is the largest city in the Chūbu region of Japan. It is Japan's third-largest incorporated city and the fourth most populous urban area. It is located on the Pacific coast on central Honshu. It is the capital of Aichi Prefecture and is one of Japan's major ports along with those of Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Yokohama, Chiba, and Kitakyushu. It is also the center of Japan's third-largest metropolitan region, known as the Chūkyō Metropolitan Area. As of 2010, 2.27 million people lived in the city, part of Chūkyō Metropolitan Area's 9.10 million people.
History
Etymology
The city's name was historically written as 那古野 or 名護屋 (both read as Nagoya). One possible origin is the adjective nagoyaka (なごやか), meaning 'peaceful'.
The name Chūkyō (中京, consisting of chū (middle) + kyō (capital)) is also used to refer to Nagoya. Notable examples of the use of the name Chūkyō include the Chūkyō Industrial Area, Chūkyō Metropolitan Area, Chūkyō Television Broadcasting, Chukyo University and the Chukyo Racecourse.

Nagoya, Batam
Nagoya, also known as Lubuk Baja, is the main town of Batam, Indonesia, and administratively a district (kecamatan), covering 10.8 square kilometers. The population was 80,780 in 2010 Census. However, like other fastest growing cities, Batam Island is becoming a continuous urban sprawl. Nagoya Hill Mall is the biggest shopping mall in the region, you can find the most popular fast food restaurants such as A&W, Pizza Hut, KFC, etc. Wide ranges of home appliances, fashions, and electronic gadgets are also available. Hypermart is the only grocery store in the mall. The area surrounded by a number of hotels, ranging from 2 to 4 stars.
Right outside the mall, there are many small roadside eateries offering grilled seafood, satay, otak-otak, and other local fare. Foods are generally quite spicy.

Pusat aneka kuliner bernama Foodmarket Thamrin ini akan resmi dibuka dalam grand opening, pada Jumat (9/12/2022) mendatang. Berlokasi di Komplek Nagoya Thamrin City (NTC), Lubukbaja, Kota Batam, pusat kuliner ini sangat mudah diakses karena tempatnya yang strategis.
Ada lebih dari 500 jenis makanan yang bisa dijajal di Foodmarket Thamrin, mulai dari makanan nusantara hingga western. Beragam menu makanan seperti nasi lemak, nasi tumpeng, ulek-ulek, seafood, lok-lok, gorengan, dan masih banyak lagi, bisa dipilih dari beraneka brand kuliner lokal terkenal di Batam.
"Total kami menyediakan 35 kios yang akan terisi dengan beraneka jenis masakan, mulai dari makanan ringan sampai berat, dan semuanya halal," ujar Pengelola Foodmarket Thamrin, Erwin, Sabtu (3/12/2022).
Foodmarket Thamrin, Nagoya, ini memiliki tempat semi terbuka yang luas, bersih dan nyaman, sehingga sangat cocok menjadi pilihan tempat makan atau sekadar nongkrong sambil minum kopi.
Bagi pengunjung yang datang bersama keluarga dan ingin menikmati tempat makan yang bebas dari asap rokok, Foodmarket Thamrin juga menyediakan fasilitas area VIP berkapasitas 150 tempat duduk.
Pengunjung semakin dimanjakan dengan live music yang rencananya akan digelar setiap malam hari.

Dolphin Show
The Dolphin Show is a non-profit student theatre organization that annually presents a large-scale student-produced musical theatre production at Northwestern University. The most recent annual production opened in January 2015 and was Titanic.
History
A group of Northwestern University men formed the Dolphin Club in 1939 to compete in Chicago area swimming meets. In 1940, the 15-member team held a swim carnival to raise money to attend a meet in Florida. The carnival and the meet were both successful, so the water show was repeated in 1941 and 1942. When World War II forced the cancellation of the annual Waa-Mu Show, the club combined their tradition with some students from Waa-Mu to present an evening of song and dance called the Dolphin Show. The 1944 Dolphin Show was a musical revue called "Wela Kahau" including women's water ballet and the men's Dolphin Club. Proceeds from this show bought war bonds. In 1948 audiences returned to see a musical-comedy revue around the original Patten Gymnasium pool. The Dolphin Show became jointly produced by the female Lorelei swimming club in 1949, but drifted away from its aquatic origin. The Dolphin Executive Board gave equal representation to both clubs who chose a theme for each year's show. In 1963 the production was no longer raising funds for the swim clubs. In 1964 the show presented Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado around the pool. In 1970, the group performed the musical Mame on stage at Cahn Auditorium.

Pusat aneka kuliner bernama Foodmarket Thamrin ini akan resmi dibuka dalam grand opening, pada Jumat (9/12/2022) mendatang. Berlokasi di Komplek Nagoya Thamrin City (NTC), Lubukbaja, Kota Batam, pusat kuliner ini sangat mudah diakses karena tempatnya yang strategis.
Ada lebih dari 500 jenis makanan yang bisa dijajal di Foodmarket Thamrin, mulai dari makanan nusantara hingga western. Beragam menu makanan seperti nasi lemak, nasi tumpeng, ulek-ulek, seafood, lok-lok, gorengan, dan masih banyak lagi, bisa dipilih dari beraneka brand kuliner lokal terkenal di Batam.
"Total kami menyediakan 35 kios yang akan terisi dengan beraneka jenis masakan, mulai dari makanan ringan sampai berat, dan semuanya halal," ujar Pengelola Foodmarket Thamrin, Erwin, Sabtu (3/12/2022).
Foodmarket Thamrin, Nagoya, ini memiliki tempat semi terbuka yang luas, bersih dan nyaman, sehingga sangat cocok menjadi pilihan tempat makan atau sekadar nongkrong sambil minum kopi.
Bagi pengunjung yang datang bersama keluarga dan ingin menikmati tempat makan yang bebas dari asap rokok, Foodmarket Thamrin juga menyediakan fasilitas area VIP berkapasitas 150 tempat duduk.
Pengunjung semakin dimanjakan dengan live music yang rencananya akan digelar setiap malam hari.
Sajian ini semakin menambah suasana menyenangkan di area Foodmarket Thamrin. Pusat kuliner ini dapat dikunjungi dari pagi hingga dini hari, karena jam operasionalnya cukup panjang, yakni dari pukul 06:00 WIB sampai 01:00 WIB
